These guards are based on a very accurate drawing of John Lennon's original 1958 Rickenbacker® 325. Designed to recreate various versions of his main guitar.
Version 1 (The Original - Late 50's to Early

with single-layer Gold guard without beveled edges and with countersunk
screws and "Oven" knobs.
Version 2 (New Knobs - Early 60's)

screws and aluminum "Hofner" knobs.
Version 3 (First Refinish - Early to Mid
60's)
Refinished in black (Jetglo)
with single-layer Gold guard without beveled edges and with countersunk
screws and aluminum "Hofner" knobs.
Version 4 (White Guard - Mid 60's)
Black (Jetglo) with single-layer
White guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws
