There are several styles of standard 4001
guards. V63 and C64 versions are available on the 4001 Reissue
page.
Style A is for early-mid 70's 4001s with a 1/2" space between
the neck pickup and the neck.
Style B is for mid 70's-late 80's 4001s with a 1" space between
the neck pickup and the neck.
Late 60's-early 70's versions with wide guards that reach to the
bridge pickup are available for the same price, but require an
original guard or tracing.
