It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over 40 years since the world lost John Lennon. I guess we still have a long way to go!
Unfortunately, a little tyrant in Russia doesn’t subscribe to John’s beliefs. But all the good in this world will cement his fate in history. Eat it, Vlad! Please support the people of Ukraine in any way you can, especially this winter.
Sadly, we lost some truly great musicians and music industry legends in 2022… Ronnie Spector, Meat Loaf, Don Wilson (The Ventures), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Bobby Rydell, Guitar Shorty, Alan White (Yes), Jim Seals (Seals & Crofts), Olivia Newton-John (c’mon…have you never been mellow?), Darryl Hunt (The Pogues), Jerry Allison (The Crickets), Loretta Lynn, Robert Gordon, Jerry Lee Lewis, D H Peligro (The Dead Kennedys), Dan McCafferty (Nazareth), Garry Roberts (The Boomtown Rats), Keith Levene (Public Image Ltd.), Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Jet Black (The Stranglers), Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown) and Terry Hall (The Specials)…to name a few.
I still believe that if we all join together and rise up against evil, we will make the world a better place! I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays, no matter what you celebrate! Let’s toss aside our differences and vow to make 2023 and beyond better by giving peace a chance forever!
