Based on John Lennon’s Original 325
Designed To Fit Most Rickenbacker® 325 Models

This guard is based on a very accurate tracing of John Lennon’s original 1958 Rickenbacker® 325. Designed to recreate various versions of his main guitar. Drilling new screw holes and/or routing the body slightly may be required on some 325/350-series models. Custom versions based on your existing guard and screw hole pattern are available with the Lennon control holes. Your guard or tracing is required for custom versions. The John Lennon graphic or signature is not available on this product. The default Gold is the 50’s Brassy Gold, similar to what John’s originally was. Other shades are available by request.

Version 1 (The Original – Late 50’s to Early 60’s)
Natural-finish (Mapleglo) with single-layer Gold guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws and “Oven” knobs.

Version 2 (New Knobs – Early 60’s)
Natural-finish (Mapleglo) with single-layer Gold guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws and aluminum “Hofner” knobs.

Version 3 (First Refinish – Early to Mid 60’s)
Refinished in black (Jetglo) with single-layer Gold guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws and aluminum “Hofner” knobs.

Version 4 (White Guard – Mid 60’s)
Black (Jetglo) with single-layer White guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws and aluminum “Hofner” knobs.

Version 5 (Current)
Refinished natural (Mapleglo) with single-layer White guard without beveled edges and with countersunk screws and aluminum “Hofner” knobs.
